Welcome to Coalwood

My documentary about a dying coal camp in West Virginia. Coalwood is the boyhood home of Homer Hickam, author of the memoir, Rocket Boys, which was made into the movie, October Sky in 1999.

My film tells the story of Coalwood and the October Sky Festival through the voices of those who’ve lived there.
